Ethics Committee

The advances occurring in medical research all over the world necessitate the presence of Ethics Committee to regulate the research work and prevent its dominance over the human rights and dignity.

As a part of the development noticed in our Faculty and the commencement in the different research centers (clinical trial, stem cell, and genetics, etc.) Ethics Committee established in 2005 to play its role in:

  1. Reviewing different plans of research. (Adequate need, benefits, methods, qualified investigators, adequate informed consent, etc.)
  2. Protecting vulnerable patients and populations.
  3. Giving free ethical consultations.
  4. Monitoring research.
  5. Propagating information about ethics of research.
